Terms & Conditions

Orders are paid in full when you place them. Nothing goes in the oven until payment clears, because every item is made for one specific customer and cannot be sold to somebody else.

All prices are in Canadian dollars. Payment is handled by Stripe on their own secure checkout page.

Pre-orders are collected through the week and handed over on Saturday. The books close on Thursday at 8:00 PM for that Saturday — after that the shopping is done and the batch is set, so later orders roll to the following week.

Cakes and desserts can be booked for a date of your choosing from the desserts page. These need at least 2 days' notice and can be booked up to six months ahead. There is a minimum order value of $18.

All orders are collected in person in Oakville. We send the exact address with your confirmation once payment is complete. We do not deliver.

Please collect on the agreed day. Everything is baked fresh for that date and we have nowhere to store an uncollected order — after the pickup day has passed, an order that was never collected cannot be remade or refunded.

For a Saturday pre-order, cancel any time before the Thursday 8:00 PM deadline for a full refund.

For an order booked on your own date, cancel up to 48 hours before pickup for a full refund.

After those points the ingredients are bought and baking has begun, so orders are final. To cancel or change anything, message us on WhatsApp. Refunds go back to the card you paid with and usually take a few business days to appear.

If we ever cannot fulfil an order — illness, an oven that picks the wrong morning to fail — we will tell you as soon as we know and refund you in full.

Our desserts are made in a home kitchen that also handles wheat, eggs, milk, nuts, peanuts and soy. We cannot guarantee that any item is free from traces of these, even when they are not in the recipe.

Every dessert lists its ingredients and allergens on the menu, and each brownie flavour names what it adds. If you have a severe allergy, please message us before ordering so we can be honest with you about whether we can safely bake for you.

Everything is best eaten fresh. We will tell you how to keep your order when you collect it.

The photographs on this site are of desserts we have actually baked. Because each one is made by hand, yours will look a little different — fruit is seasonal, and no two cakes are decorated identically.

We may update this page. The terms that apply to your order are the ones published when you placed it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply there.
