It depends on what you are after. Cookies need a day. Brownies, shortbread and khrustyky need two. Cakes, the syrnyk and the dessert cups need 3. An order holding several things takes the longest notice anything in it asks for, since it is all baked for one collection — so a cake alongside the cookies makes the whole basket 3 days. For larger orders or a busy weekend, earlier is better. Saturday pre-orders close on Thursday at 8:00 PM.

The Saturday batch is baked once a week: order by Thursday at 8:00 PM and collect that Saturday. It carries the things that scale — boxes, trays and cookies. Anything else, a cake above all, is baked for a day you choose yourself, with the notice that dessert needs.

Cakes belong in the fridge, between 2 and 5 °C, and keep for up to four days — though they are at their best on the first or the second. Cookies and brownies keep about three days in a sealed container; after that they do not spoil so much as dry out, and again the first two days are the ones worth having. Each dessert's page says which of the two it is. None of this is a formality: it is the whole reason everything here is baked to order for your date rather than made in advance and kept.

About 100 to 125 grams a person, which comes to eight or ten from a one-kilogram cake, twelve to fifteen from one and a half, and sixteen to twenty from two. Each size says so beside its price. Treat it as a guide rather than a promise: how a cake is cut decides as much as what it weighs, and a rich one goes further than the arithmetic suggests. If you are feeding an awkward number, tell us and we will say honestly which size to take.

Saturday pre-orders have no minimum. For a day of your own choosing there is one, since a bake lit for a single order has to be worth the morning — if what you have chosen falls below it, the order form says so plainly before you pay, never after. A few things are also baked in batches and come several at a time; where that is so, it is written beside the price.

Cancel up to 48 hours before your pickup date for a full refund — just message us. After that the ingredients are bought and the baking has begun, so orders are final. For a change rather than a cancellation, message us as early as you can and we will do what the schedule allows.

Some desserts can be made gluten-free by request. Please contact us before ordering so we can confirm availability and ingredients. They are baked in the same home kitchen as our wheat-based desserts, so we cannot guarantee they are free from traces of gluten — if you have coeliac disease or a severe intolerance, please tell us so we can be honest about whether we can safely bake for you.

Some Brownie Box flavours contain peanuts or walnuts, and every dessert here is made in one home kitchen with shared equipment. May contain traces of other allergens due to shared kitchen equipment. We cannot promise any dessert is free of traces, so please tell us before you order and we will be honest about whether we can safely bake for you.

Our recipes contain no pork, gelatin, lard, tallow or alcohol — even our vanilla is made in-house from real vanilla beans and sugar. We are not halal-certified, and some ingredients such as chocolate, cookies and candy come from other brands, so if you have specific halal requirements or concerns about an ingredient, please contact us before ordering and we'll be happy to confirm.
